I don't know why, they just did. The rooster would start pecking at a mouse, the mouse would try to run, but the hens would join in the pecking. Watching nature is interesting.
I used to raise Pharoah coturnix quail and Georgia giants. They were cool and their eggs are 3x better than chicken eggs. Other than those I only like birds from a distance.
I agree with you. Sometimes, I have the opportunity to witness a small flock of peacocks within my own neighborhood. They are quite charming with their vibrantly colored feathers. I once was even fortunate enough to spot a white peacock frolicking about.
I dislike the varieties that screech, which seems to be most of them where I live. It's probably the thing I hate most about the tropics. I wish them no harm though.
Yeah for sure as long as they're in the wild. Not a fan of
pet birds though. I like snadpipers and pelicans when I'm at the beach and cardinals and redwing blackbirds when I'm away from the coast.
I love birds! I bird watch all the time. Fascinating and beautiful creatures! Id have to say the great blue heron and the grackle are two of my favorites! The blue jay is a fun playful little buddy as well!
