Afraid I'll have to say yes, because it makes you look suspicious, especially in the summer. You probably have some variant of social phobia and subconsciously feel the need to hide (protect) yourself from the outside world. Many people do. No big deal. You should try to replace that with something less conspicuous.
If that works well for you, keep wearing it. Just keep in mind how others might perceive you. I too used to wear a baseball type of hat years ago and realized after some time that I can't live without it. Guess I liked the pressure on my head. But now I don't anymore.
You're telling a person possibly with social phobia and self esteem issues based on the perception of others to keep in mind how others might percieve him/her, when in actual truth, most people tend to be so busy in their own mind, own problems and life that they couldn't care if someone's wearing a hoodie
we all judge others subconsciously if not consciously. it is important to know what others think of us. we exist in relation to each other. it's a science fact. we do from the way we dress, to the way we speak and walk etc.
And what is the best way to make an impression? Confidence, being confident in being yourself not insecure about how others feel,
And in various studies observing things like how others percieve us the participants always over best mated how much focus was on then and how much other people noticed them, I could dog them out
Do you judge people who wear hoodies when it's hot?

Suspicious of what? It's a thin hoodie that's not zipped up, it's not like I could hide anything in it.
