Do you have the same interest in movies like what i do?

I like movie themes that's making me feel angry, dark, and down.

Sometimes I'm in a point where I want to smash things because , for example: a character/characters who is/are proposing or invocating something and nobody listen from the mass.

There are also times that a movie makes me want to speak up and be heard.

I mean, I really want good movies which give me strong negative feelings such anger, downness or darkness. Though not those superhero-cliche-movies.

Oh, for those geniuses out there, sorry for my poor grammar structure.

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

  • Yeah most of my favourite films are ones that have a powerful emotional impact upon me, usually not a positive one.

    For example, Donnie Darko.

I definitely gravitate towards music, movies, literature etc. with darker themes.

I'm not sure you meant to use the word 'invocating', by the way. Doesn't make much sense in your sentence.

      • YOUR NOT? My bad man, I'm not going to lie, I did not know that. So here you are asking your thing about your sadness whatever, and here I am, on an insomnia induced commenting spree whatever, and our lines got crossed and here we are. So I'm -real- sorry bout that, but I -cannot- garentee that it won't happen again, but I can say, that it won't happen again until it happens again. Once again, my bad. Knuckle bump -3 E-

        • Oh, I think you got the wrong tone of my reply, sorry 'bout that.

And this isn't about sadness, I just decided to post a topic here and maybe someone here might have the same interest as mine.

  • Have you seen "The Road"?? I watched cartoons for hours after that to try to make myself feel happy again.

  • Yes apparently I do. Unfortunately I hate subtitles and there's a lot of good dark foreign movies out there.

Watch the movie "Rampage." My favorite.

    • Cool Story Bro was one of the most heart breaking movies ever.

That last scene were Rutger Haur looks up at Willem Dafoe and say's "He told me...I had a good story...the he called me...Bro" Powerful stuff.

        • That tunnel scene in irreversible went on for so long, horrible, gasper noe is the only director who I respect yet sometimes angers me, enter the void was a great film.
Not seem no mercy, any good? And sympathy was good defiantly more brutal than oldboy though
