I think people can develop narcissistic traits after certain situations in their life. I used to be very giving and put everyone else first in my life, but after getting fucked over by pretty much everyone, I made myself my number one priority in life. I have no patience for anyone that inconveniences me; and once i feel disrespected, i cut people off in a heartbeat without second-thought.
