He's amazing, isn't he? Reading his books now, it's difficult to guess he was born nearly 200 years ago. He predicted the internet, high speed trains, skyscrapers, space travel. The only other writer I know who was as far ahead of his time was Aldous Huxley.
You'll hate me when you finish The Mysterious Island, by the way. It's a bit anti-English. :P Just keep thinking Conseil!
Hehe, when I was a kid, they showed a lot of dramatisations on TV and I thought he was some visionary talking about the future. I kept waiting to see what he'd come up with next and I didn't know he'd been dead for over a hundred years. I honestly believe my love of science has a lot to do with him.
As for me, I've got more flaws than you can shake a stick at! In fact, I've got more flaws than you could shake three sticks at. And, given you only have two hands, I really don't know what you're using to shake the third stick!
So he was popular like Nostradamus was? I never actually heard of Jules until last week, so this is quite informative. That's a neat way to get your inspiration!
If you are telling the truth, I'm sure there are plenty of ways to shake all 3 at ones.. just have to get creative!
Maybe it's a European thing. He's from the next country along, after all.
I'm struggling with very bad thoughts of you and three sticks so, for the sake of my sanity, I'm now choosing to believe you've employed someone to wave the third stick for you. :P
Do you have favorite song?
