I don't understand from the way you've described it, how this is different from people who make up characters, like for stories, in their head. If that is the case, then yes I have about 5, that i sort of "play with", well only 2 or 3 that're fully developed the rest are more like foils to my mains at this point (i don't write the story, it is just in my head, to my self... I'm kind of afraid to let it out, because it is a bit what other people would call "offensive/disturbing" or even just plain stupid, although i enjoy it. i have attempted to make some of them visible, in drawings or 3d models such as avatars). From the wikipedia page it seems like some kind of self-induced hallucination..? or an imaginary friend as you've said, is that just another word for it..? o_O
A turbo slut is like a butt slut. A butt slut is the sub type of a normal slut or a dumpster slut. A turbo slut is pretty much the alpha slut of all the categories of sluts. A super slut is the beta slut and both butt sluts and dumpster sluts are pretty much just gamma sluts.
a tulpa is more like having another fully living human being in your head, whereas an imaginary friend is like a puppet.
they are supposed to be a fully sentient being, with their own ideas, opinions, feelings, etc, created with a portion of your subconcious feelings with a personality built around that, and then "separated" from the rest of your mind.
you could say its like partitioning a hard drive on a computer for another user.
a character, whether you made them up or not, can work as a template for your tulpa. if you think about them enough and really concentrate, eventually they will take on a life of their own. just don't freak out when you hear their voice out of nowhere.
question: do the fully developed characters talk to you? have you suddenly hear them call your name or try to get your attention?
Oh, no, nothing like that. I think that would be kind of cool though. I have had something similar to what you describe, but I didn't like it, because it felt evil and mean (the seperated part of my subconscious) and i didn't create it on purpose.
do you have a tulpa?

My hand is the biggest turbo slut of them all.
