ADHD shouldn't really be considered a condition. After all, it just means that the person who has it has a lot of energy. ADHD is really just man kinds way of labeling yet another group of very normal people. Just like the gays. Just because they like the same sex doesn't mean that they have a condition or disorder or that they are wrong about who to like. What I'm trying to say is that why pay attention to such small imperfections when really there are much more dangerous diseases and conditions out there?

although i agree with your point, it is genetically proven that people wiith ADHD have a hormonal imbalance in their brains, which causes the brain not to respond the way it should, but i stand by your point, ADHD is being overdiagnosed on a whole, and people who have been told to have it tend to have a placebo affect and be generally nasty people, which isnt what ADHD does. overdiagnosis is giving ADHD and its derivatives a bad rap

I disagree with the statement that ADHD is just someone who has lots of energy. And comparing them with gay people. And why pay attention to it. Being a child in school and finding it extremely hard to focus and learn is something to pay attention as it their education. It also can affect social skills. Both of which are very important for the future. I don't necessarily agree with the medication aspect totally and think there are other avenues of help. However I am not in some parents shoes, and respect if that is the avenue they have had to choose.
So, being ADHD affects education etc (maybe not for some?) which could have adverse affects.
But being Gay affects who you love. Which,

i have been diagnosed with ADHD and have paid for a gene sample to be done on me, i have ADHD, and what you just said, frankly, is a load of shit, the acronym stands for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, the clue is in the name: small attention span, and hyper, not stupid, as you seem to be

I never once said that having ADHD means that you are stupid. What I said, and I'll say it again, is that when one has ADHD, their brain moves too fast, making it hard for them to focus. Having a small attention spam and having problems focusing are the same thing, so you pretty much just spit my information back out at me in an attempt to make me look stupid. If what I just said was a load of shit, then what you just said is also a load of shit. Please consider recollecting your thoughts and avoiding contradictions before you respond to me again.

What? Do you even know what ADHD is? It certainly is not like living with half a brain, it means that your brains moves/works too fast, which is why it can sometimes affect how a person learns since it affects their focus. Maybe you should do some research before you comment on other people's comments.
