people are gonna freak when they read my response but I grew up down in Texas and was raised by my grandparents so I'm a little old fashioned.
I'm definitely not a racist.. in fact most of my friends are Hispanic, black or mixed and I am white (part Native American and part Dutch).
I moved to NYC around 13 yrs old and was no longer sheltered from other races. Between ages 16-19 I started dating Hispanic men and explored with blacks but never had a black bf. Now at my age (26) I've realized the differences in culture do not make for a successful long term relationship.
The divorce rates are sky high and maybe its because people think love is enough when it's not. Compatibility is.. and I'm sorry but Black people and white people have a different way of thinking.... and lets say they think the same way. well I bet the families of those two think differently.
Buuuuuut this is only my opinion and I'd never judge others on the choices they make but just wish them luck!
