              I must say this, though... Gary Jules is the one who's responsible for Mad World. I don't really know how Tears for Fears have been taking the credit for so many years.

                Yeah I think I heard the Gary Jules version first actually, probably when Donnie Darko came out.

            DD is one of my favourite weird films.

            My daughter's coming up on eleven now. The film is rated 15 in the UK, but I think I might introduce her to it soon, just to enjoy her "WTF!?" reactions.

              It is good.

              I didn't watch it til years after it came out. And Tim Minchin's song outlining the plot is still the first thing that comes to mind when someone mentions it.
