    Have you ever licked an ashtray? I haven't but I've gotten a faceful of ash and trust me, a smokers mouth and that don't taste *anything* alike.

          Yes, it was an exaggeration. Similes often use exaggeration. What exactly is your point? If you're trying to prove that kissing a smoker doesn't LITERALLY taste like licking an ashtray - congratulations. You win. You've proven that the point I was NOT trying to make is false.             You seem to be dealing with some anger issues. Do you wanna talk about it?

            I understand people choosing not to smoke, in fact I laud people who've never given in to the addictive power of nicotene. But I feel like smokers get a lot of unwarranted hate. Would it kill you guys to disagree respectfully?

              I don't call your disingenuous attempt to create a straw man argument respectful. Passive-aggressive and childish would be a more appropriate description.

              I'd say you're dealing with some persecution issues. Do you wanna talk about it? There's someone out there who cares about you very much and wants to help you - but it sure as hell isn't me.
