I've had both sides of my neck tattooed for years. They are high quality professional tasteful tattoos, fancy script names. I have received mostly positive thoughts on these tattoos but lately I received a negative comment. Do you find having and liking neck tattoos normal?
Just like many other things I think it depends on the person, and on the tattoo.
It kind of depends on what you look like as a whole.
If you are some guy who already has an appearance like an ex-con then tattoos are not going to help your image.
Maybe the reason you got good feedback is either you were among the bad guys OR among normal society and they were afraid of you.
My opinion is that someone should not ruin their neck or face with tattoos.
I wouldn't consider them "extreme" or even close, nor do I think that most people would see them as "extreme" in terms of body modification. Though, for some reason, there's a certain stigma to some people around neck tattoos that you don't see with other parts of the body. I'm not sure why exactly this is though.
