Do you find it sad that we'll never meet aliens

I'm quite sad now, I thought it through and realised we have a very small chance of meeting aliens :( and even if we do our germs and theirs will KILLUSALL I mean light travels at 300,000 km a second
The fastest rocket can go at 30,000 km an hour and the nearest possibly habitable planet is 8 light years away don't even bother doing the math, just know by the time that rocket reaches that planet your great 500x grandchildren will be dead, earth is our home we shouldn't leave and we shouldn't kill it off, humans will be extinct by at most 500M years so by then we would've evolved quite a bit, maybe we could live in our dreams for ever and become immortal living inside the consciousness itself.

    Government is hiding them. Aliens possibly meet our ancestors during ancient times. They remain hidden but they're here. Two possibilties exist. Either we are alone or we are not.

    I thought these was already a huge problem with aliens in the US. Almost every day someone is demanding that they be given amnesty or something. I don't see why it would be so hard to meet one. Have you tried a 7/11 near you?

    I too am sad that I will never be able to meet any of you humans. The overlord of my race on our home world has forbidden any contact between our species. The only thing I am allowed to do is watch your planet from afar. Perhaps one day he will change his mind...

    I think maybe one day our great great great etc grandkids will possibly 1% chance meet them. They'll invent some form of traveling pod that has its own fuel off of some body fluid and it'll keep going. So people will be born, live, give birth, live the rest of their life and die only to have their children do the same until one day, they reach civilization...lol

    Ya, it's sad. :( I think about this too.
