Guys are ruthless (not to say that girls are because we are) and some will dump a girl because she gained a few pounds or cut her har wrong or literally changed one minor thing and now they look ugly. Not all guys are shallow but some are.
No, it is extremely rare that a guy will dump a girl for a haircut or gaining a few pounds.
As a separate topic guys are more visual than women. Women are generally more sexually attracted to behavior while guys are generally more sexually attracted to appearance. There's nothing more moral or immoral(shallow) as both are just following what turns them on.
But the point is that alteration in appearance will almost never yield a result of going from being attractive to someone to being unattractive or vice versa. It is a negligible difference that isn't worth thinking about.
Have you been living under a rock? The prep, jock, popular dudes in highschool are so full of themselves that they would do this! (Maybe I have been living under a rock and only my school does this).
I've never done this or met anyone who has or anyone who knows anyone who has or ever even heard of that lol. I know some men get divorced if their wife gains a lot of weight after marriage but couldn't imagine that being the only reason. Haircut is a new one lol. Have you ever heard of this actually happening?
High school - that phase in everyone's life when they reach peak insecurity and have the most desperate need to fit in with the mob. Most kids that age have enough life-experience to believe they understand the world and people, but they're too dumb to even begin to grasp the magnitude of their ignorance.
Anyone who hits 30 and looks back with pride on how they behaved in high school was either born a saint, is in denial, or still hasn't mentally matured beyond puberty.
Highschool is different than adulthood. Most everyone has insecurities and the social dynamic is very static. Often times people "date" and "dump" purely to improve their social status.Friendship creation and dropping and bullying are other examples of that that happen much less into adulthood.
Men have been losing interest in their wives because the got older and out of shape forever. Do you not realize how many of the issues that lead to divorce start this way?
Do you find girls with short hair attractive?
