Things Would be a lot different in Miami compared to Australia. I find it hard to believe that you could say, be working for $15 an hour, someone steals a quarter pounder then ya boss comes along and says "ok, we need for you to re sign all this crap, we're gonna start paying you $14 an hour".. Also Mcdonalds and any other company would be probably already paying right on whats legally required.
I don't like how things run in your country, You will end up with everyone on welfare apart from Indians. Indians and similar will work for near to nothing, but in their motherland the American dollar is worth a lot, they save up a month pay, send it back home and buy a house.
