    Absolutely. However, its not all-encompassing. The way I see it is that natural talent is the floor of your capabilities, and personal input and dedication is the ceiling.

    the talent itself is not inborn but the aptitude for it is. a baby is not born knowing how to play the piano but if by age 3 they are spontaneously learning how to play via experimentation that shows their natural aptitude finding an outlet.

      It's interesting how there are people who cannot learn to read music, but still end up becoming great musicians, because of their natural abilities.

      It does kinda freak me out when people can't read music.

    I could never carry a tune. It wouldn't matter how much I would practice. The end result would be the same. It's an in born talent.
