  • This is not romantic love this is fate. Fate says there is one person in the world for everyone. However to prove this true you need an even number of men and women. Since you think it is for production reasons. However if the population ever seems to favour one gender over the other this theory would not work.

If you have more men that means that we would have less children since one man can impregnate multiple women. However lots of women and less men means lots of babies since one man can impregnate several females.

We also have gay people which enjoy the same sex. They can not reproduce with each other. Some believe that gay people exists to prevent reproduction. Which means that being gay is not only natural but also needed for the survival of mankind.

Unless you can create a chart measuring that the amount of men has always been even with that of women I doubt it. I don't think there is someone out there for everyone. I think some people will die lonely and some people just don't seem interested in love. So no I do not.

We also have this new category called asexuality. Which is people who say they do not have a desire to find a mate. Which does indeed seem more logical then running around chasing hoping you find true love one day.
