Yeah, I agree. I was born in and grew up in a part of Scotland that only spoke Gaelic and still believed in all of the folklore (eupines, selkies, spririts, and even divine interference of Gods). I think that kind of supported my belief in the supernatural. Strangely, I still believe in those sorts of things to this day, even if my better judgement tells me otherwise.
That's really cool. I was born in argyll and even though Yorkshire is my home now, I've always been fascinated by that stuff. Some folklore has sneaky bits of truth that has been lost over time.
