No, it is pandering to feeling and sentiment and subjectivity. To criticize anything at this stage of human evolution is fluff, baseless dribble. Prove god exists, prove he doesn't, both impossible. But we have got to "fill in the blanks" with fluff for our sanity, for our individuality. Because we are too weak as beings to cope without at this stage.
We must advance beyond these things to know with certainty. Something neither you or I, nor anybody else, has the ability to do yet.
