See, I disagree entirely. If someone is entirely uneducated about their own beliefs, then I think they in particular should be challenged.
Of course, time and place are always important. Knocking on doors (hem hem) seems a bit too far, but when the topic comes up it seems like challenging people is a good thing. It makes everyone rethink (hopefully) what they believe.
