    I don't think there's anything to assume in it. Especially since it sounds like you two tease each other like that commonly.

        Sure there is...though it would have to do with some subtle lies.

        You could ask her if she's ever been interested in another female because one of your friends (who you don't name and have made up) told you that she's developed a type of crush herself.

        Gauge her reaction and see what she says.

        But I was in a similar situation with a girl that I roomed with (even went so far as in imagining us in bed). She was COMPLETELY straight though...and a dolt.
