3/4 of the world drives on the right. That's hardly 'just' Americans. We kicked British ass to gain our independence in the Revolutionary War. If we hadn't we'd still be a British colony, wouldn't we? Most of the 1/4 left who drive on the opposite side are British and British colonies.
