  • Probably you don't understand guys. Guys aren't "hung up"; it's a revulsion guys feel at a deeper level much as you would be repulsed by rotten food.

      • Sometimes there is a difference between thinking you know and actually knowing.

        • Your sweeping generalization of men makes them sound very simple to undetstand.

You know its petfectly fine for you to feel the way you do about kissing a man but you don't speak for all men. And I would guess that I've known more men in a intimate way than you have especially considering your statements above so I think its entirely possible that I have some insights into mens behavior that you'll never have. Unless you would like to share your vast homosexual experiences with the class to really prove your point.

          • My sweeping generalization? And you're the one who said guys get hung up about these situations.

            • Yea except mine is true. You can see it all over the place. Women hug each other all the time for anything from a greeting to sharing grief. Women will hold hands just becos they are friends. I could go on and on. There are all kinds of things straight women do with each other that straight men don't do becos they don't want to be seen as gay. Thus its a hang up about doing such things. Women will also wear clothes meant for men if they want to anything from pants to hiking boots. Men rarely wear mini skirts or heels.

If men weren't bothered by being seen as gay they would probly do many of these things and they would be as culturally normal as women doing them.

Its really not a big deal I don't know why your even concerned about it.

              • Your last answer has shown how ignorant you really are. In many cultures, especially in the east, it's pretty normal for straight guys to hold hands or hug. But when people from the west see that, they think they are gay or weird.

And Scotts wear kilts, which are practically skirts. If guys wear kilts in most other countries, they will be treated like freaks. There are cultural rules that have been established over time and people who don't behave according to them may be seen as weirdos. It's pretty myopic to say men are hung up.

Finally, would women date a man who likes to wear women's clothes? No! Women don't even date guys who have foot fetish! Women don't want to be seen with such guys who deviate from the norm. They call them pervs. If you say men are hung up, by your own logic then you will have to agree that women are also hung up about what men do.

    • So you reckon guys see other guys (and presumably themselves) as rotten food? That is really sad

      • I am sorry I wasn't clear enough. Rotten food = the act of kissing another guy. If it's still not clear enough think of it this way, will you make out with a 12 year old or have sex with him? Even if it's a 12 year old you like, maybe your son?
