Pigeons quietly coo, they waddle along benignly and are easily ignored.
Seagulls scream every morning and at various times during the day, steal people's food, are aggressively territorial and are generally very irritating.

you'd be suprised where seagulls end up. i'm six hours from the coast and we got tons of them
