Honestly, in my opinion, we should just wipe the government clean and start over. At this point, the government is so unconstitutional that that is the only sensical answer, from my perspective. People like to make the argument that "the world is changing," but that does not give the Federal government the right to bankrupt a man with legal fees just because they misinterpreted a law from another country. Nor does it give the state government the right to randomly search someone's house whenever they want just because the person uses a rabbit in a magic show. It also doesn't give them the right to bankrupt a woman for fixing a sewer drain, despite the fact that they said she could. These are all real stories of what happened to people. Currently, our laws are awful. If you'd like to know more about those stories, though, here's a video.
Another story I read yesterday was about a woman fighting charges for exposing her breasts in front of her step children. She is being charged with lewdness in her own home.Perfectly ok for a man to expose his chest but if a woman does it it’s lewd and illegal. Free the nipple I say. The female breast is a baby feeding organ. It’s men who have made them into a sex toy.
I agree. There are so many laws in the U.S that no one person knows them all and given that ignorance of the law is no excuse, the government pretty much has carte blanche to destroy you if it sees fit.
The second amendment gives us the right to rise up and start over but even saying that probably just got me on a watch list somewhere.
