She likes to belittle me like that. I've been outside of the USA in my service in the USN. I've decided America itself is the best system. She just bitterly rejects any viewpoint other than her own. Not unlike most far leftists.
I, too, was stationed abroad while in the USN. During that time, I decided that, on balance, the positives of life in Britain outweighed the negatives of American culture and life in the USA, and I've never returned to the country of my birth.
While I was in the service, I met a lot of jingoistic, brainwashed, blinkered yahoos who were incapable of seeing the USA - and the role they played as a tiny cog in the American military machine - with any degree of objectivity.
I have no idea what criteria you've used to judge the America as "the best". If you believe that the percentage of citizens a country imprisons, the amount of waste a country produces per capita, the amount spent on the military, the value of weapon exports, the rate of neonatal fatalities, the cost of prescription drugs and the cost of medical care in general, the number of calories consumed per day per person and a high rate of income inequality are all a case of "the more, the better", then the USA is indeed the greatest country in the world.
Unlike the straw-man leftists you believe in, I can see positive things about the fundamental aspirational ideals of the USA that every American kid is taught in grade school, but any adult who believes America is a shining city on the hill is fucking delusional. Believing the USA has a God-given right and duty to use its economic and military might to force other countries to emulate its system is downright evil.
So how was brexit 2.0 working out for you? The average british person chose the values economic and cultural individualism?
America is in a very precarious position. Being the worlds only superpower brings responsibility as well as the power to bring nearly every country to its knees if we REALLY wanted to. Why dont we conquer the world? Cause it's easier to trade then to burn. Every country relies on trade to keep their coffers filled and the power on in the house. Oil is a precious resorce while the UK has its wind and nuclear options you still rely on oil to get you through winter months.
The reason why we are always going into the middle east is to keep that oil flowing to our allies. Because the next biggest seller of oil in the region is russia. We do not want our allies to be in a precarious situation due to not having an antiquite supply of instant energy.
Capitalism and free trade is what keeps nearly every goverment afloat now a days. America might not be the leading exporter anymore but we have the financial stability to keep our populace from starving to death and everyone has an equal opportunity to go up or down.
"Straw-man leftists you believe in". They exist. Anyway, all countries have the right to try to force their systems onto other countries; what do you think militaries are for? Also, the number of prisoners is irrelevant, and the amount of waste produced per capita is irrelevant. The reason our country is getting worse and worse is because of how massively unconstitutional the government is. That is why we of the Constitution Party are trying to get our candidates elected.
The extent is to be discussed. Physically they are a small part of the left. Much like a cancer they are spreading bring malignant destruction along with them.
Do most Democrats hate America?

It suddenly becomes a problem with this hyper biased impeachment where the only non partisan support was trying to counter the impeachment vote.
Bernie is now a misogynist. Warren is a snake in the grass.
And biden... is a lost cause.

I think you can tell by the response the level of intelligence you are dealing with.

I would be interested to know which item in O.P's list is imaginary because they are all very real.
