Knocking a hat off is borderline assault. When I was going to college in Louisiana a police officer told me that if someone just touched me, and I didn't want that person to touch me it would be assault, and I'm fine with that definition!
I like how all these wannabe-conservatives complain nonstop about liberals / feminists / sjws saying this sort of thing, but as soon as the shoe is on the other foot they're all like "omg he assaulted me boo hoo wah wah Im telling"
No one's going to do anything about your hat getting knocked off - its not an elementary school playground.
Harrassment is harrassment regardless of whomever is the object of said harassment. It's a sign of poor character when people have double standards for those they do not like. I don't like it when women are sexually, or otherwise harassed. I also don't like it when conservatives are harassed by leftists just because they they don't like their politics.
Do liberals have a legal right to assault you for wearing maga hat?

Harrassment is harrassment regardless of whomever is the object of said harassment. It's a sign of poor character when people have double standards for those they do not like. Assault is a threat, battery is the physical contact. Shaking a fist or yelling words that you intend to harm someone is an assault.
