Do IIN users know each other in real life?

    I'm confused by how much so many of you know about each other. Many of you seem to be friends and converse beyond IIN, yet so few have anything in their profiles; how do you know so much about each other?
    A few I've PM'ed and would like to get to know (from a distance at first), but I am a child of the 60's so it's very difficult to lower my guard and the buffers. For many years I had 4 PO boxes, forwarding mail back and forth, so the "man" couldn't track me down.
    I have but a minute presence on the internet intentionally; I am way under the NSA's radar. Even posting a picture of myself has so far been impossible, though with more therapy, perhaps one day.

      It's just making a connection with another human being. It's nothing strange or mystical.

      If you are a child of the sixties, doesn't that make you between 44 and 54 years of age? Which makes your wife between two years old and twelve years old.
