First off, looks aren't everything. You should give yourself a bit of a break in that department.I doubt you could be much uglier than Lyle Lovitt and he was with Julia Roberts. Billy Bob Thornton was married to Angelina Jolie and he is no looker.
As for school and other "hard" things in life; well that's just a matter of application, isn't it? If someone wants something enough then they will try very hard to make it be. Quitting is not the answer to any problem.
Sounds like you are pretty low now, and that is great news! The only place you can go from here is up, right?
