Well i meet my boyfriend about 15 years ago he took my virginity and i was head over heels in love with him he went to prison until 1997 then when he got out we got together but right before he got out i meet someone else so he moved on and got married and had a daughter and divorced anyway we been together now for 2 years and i feel at times i love him more than i loved anyone else then at times i don't feel anything for him whats wrong with me is this normal
i'd say it's normal. Although, i'm not speaking from experience.
things change, people change. It's life. Sometimes, as people, we desire more 1st experiences.
ex: when i first moved to an apt in the city i remember thinking "wow, i don't want this feeling to go away." The feeling i'm referring to was excitement, because it was new to me. Eventually, like all things, it got old.
sadly, it's possible you've lost that.. but like i said this isn't from similar experience. That's just the best way i could relate and try to tackle the question.

It is probably just nostalgia for the good times you had together in the past. Real love is like a triangle--and all the sides of the triangle should be fairly equal most of the time...For example, one side is friendship,another side is passion, and the last side of the triangle is commitment. If the
triangle has unequal sides--like if the passion side is longer, well you two are not going to sustain that feeling forever-you'll
burn out. If the comittment side is longer, you're probably just in the relationship for kids bc it is gonna be BORING. If the friendship side is longer, well you two are probably more friends than anything else. But first, let me address this -- you sound like a good person who is thougjtful and wants the best for yourself. So, why are you with him now that he has a prison record....no excuses now! You know you deserve better.
