I love it when people decribe themselves ad a goth, and you're thinking.. Okay, so tehy're goth.. and the they're like "But i'm not goth!! " It's like "Once I gave this guy a blowjob... but i'm not gay!!" LOL To answer your question, I don't find it offensive, as long as you're not a little snot like the girl that was in my school. On a different side of the spectrum though, I had a friend who was goth, and a church lady saw all his tattoos and such and told him he was going to hell. This guy was a decent guy, never caused trouble for anyone, but he offended this lady just with his appearance. I think alot of people associate it with teh devil or whatnot so they do see it as a offensive. Or some people may even see it as you trying to stand out and be cool, so in turn they think you're not cool, and then don't like you. I've seen it before. I myself, am the opposite from you. I love bright colours, sunshine, hello kitty. But I don't get offended when I see people like that.. It really depend on the person
That church lady you described sounds very judgemental. It's funny because I'm actually of the Christian faith. I mean, I'm not a whole lot religious and I don't go to church every Sunday but I do believe in the Christian faith. And she has a nerve to point out someone else, but she must have forgotten it's a sin to judge.
That's actually what my friend told her. Calmly might I add lol Hopefully it reminded her that she should be kind to everyone, not just those who fit her idea of normal. Everyone had they're own preferences, if everyone was the same, the world would be a borriinngg place
Do I offend people?

Yeah. I totally agree with that. I wish the rest of the world could see it the same.
