I am 18 and a girl and for about three to four years I have had this problem but it has gotten worse the older I get, I have sexual thoughts all the time and in the most innapropriate situations also, especially in school when guys are talking to me I don't even concentrate on what they're saying and its a struggle to keep my eyes locked on their face. Sometimes in class if I see a guy tapping his fingers on a table that gets me going as well and let's not start on the 'if they accidently brush past me'. I masturbate regularly at home about twice a day and then sometimes I have to go to the bathroom in school to do it as well so I can actually concentrate. I have had sex before but it's been over a year now since then I haven't really had any constant sexual pleasure from someone. I know other people have asked similar questions but they have usually been in committed relationships, I just wanted to ask If it was normal in my situation?

    I don't think there's anything wrong with you, you just have a strong sex drive. I'm in the same kind of situation. I have a close girl friend and we actually will help each other out and get each other off just for getting the tension out. I do enjoy having fun with guys but I know not everyone wants to be casual with guys like I am.
    I think thats normal for your situation to masturbate as much as you do. I'm single too, have the same issues in the hallways and classrooms, masturbate daily or more often. I think you are perfectly fine, wish I could talk to you more privately about it too.

    Why don't you try to date someone to brush off that sexual tension? I'd advice you to stop masturbating and do it at once. Your boiling up from sexual stress and relieving it on masturbation which affects your ability to interact with others and build relationships.

    Perhaps your afraid of emotional engagement with someone due to past experiences or circunstancial factors but you can work on that.

        Your welcome dear. You bet there is, you just have to feel open to dating. Work on the emotional aspect of it, or have casual non strings attached sex so you can at least stop masturbating that often and felling hypersensitive to men. But I'd advice you to work on emotions as soon as your done with it.

    You are normal sweety. Masturbate as much as you like. It's harmless, safe, and as you may have already learned, no one can pleasure you as well as you, yourself can. And as others have already stated, the "for a girl part" is irrelevant. Everyone, male or female, has their own individual sex drive. Satisfy yours, and don't compare it to others.

    I would have to disagree with the other comment on here. As a 40 year old woman, I can assure you it is completely normal to pleasure yourself as much as you feel like. It's a healthy way to relieve stress & to know your own body & how you prefer to be pleasured. And at least you're not sleeping around!! lol

    I think you have a really healthy and strong sex drive / libido . I don't know about masturbating in school just to concentrate . I would say as long as its not negatively impacting your life and goals , go for it . I believe it's because you seem to want and enjoy sex more than most young women and probably the lack of sexual intimacy with another is really ramping up your cravings for climax .
