The whole music industry is dedicated to your problem. No you are not strange. That's just the way it is. Things will eventually get better, but there is no cure but time. The opposite of love is not hate, it's apathy.

you prolly blame her because shes not insecure about her self like you are and you want her to be. dont take offense i could be wrong.

You love her, but you use her as a crutch.

I've thought about this in the past...and considering your age, this is not normal. you need to grow up and respect the woman who sacrificed so much to take care of you. I used to 'hate' my mom too, when I was in high school and she seemed to be the opposite of everything I was/wanted to be, but now, I love her and appreciate her because she loves me too and does so much for me and my brother. My best friend just lost her mom to cancer, and seeing that happen has made me really appreciate my moma too, remember that she won't be around forever.

yes, from the time you are born until you move on your own, you are disempowered and forced to unconditionally submit to your mom/dad. It's natural to feel a little resentment once you realize that they have been holding you down.
