Drinking alcohol will NOT help with a sleep disorder. Drinking may help you fall asleep, but it is proven to reduce the quality of sleep so much that it is just about the worst way to self medicate. You can try over the counter sleeping pills for a short period of time to help readjust your circadian rhythm, but if the problem is ongoing, you should definitely see a doctor.
