Do guys like getting compliments from girls?

I feel like men don’t get enough compliments, and I would love to feel comfortable giving guys compliments when I notice something that sticks out about them. Like “you have an amazing smile” or “you have really nice eyes” or something to that effect. But then I don’t know if that sounds stupid or if it would make them uncomfortable or if I would get made fun of for it? I know I like nice compliments but then I know that I’ve also gotten compliments that make me really uncomfortable So I guess I don’t really know what to say. Or if I should even say anything at all? What’s your opinion? What kind of compliment would you like? Do you think women should give compliments?

    Guy or girl, whenever I gave someone a compliment, they saw it as some sort of invitation to sit by me and talk. Nothing wrong with that, but my socially awkward ass couldn't keep up sometimes. You can compliment them, just be prepared if they decide to do that.

    I would say that most of us guys like it. I don’t care either way personally but that’s cause I don’t like most people.

    What about things like "Damn, nice ass" or you have the biggest one I've ever had inside me". Or some other bull shit lie that makes us feel better. Or the one "Oh, you do that better than any other of my past lovers.

      Well I’m not really talking about sex. I just mean if I’m at the grocery store or at some event and see someone who is attractive or even just has a certain attractive feature. Like I get a little confidence boost when someone tells me I have pretty eyes and I wonder if it’s the same for guys?

        If you mean paying compliments to total strangers be prepared for them to see it as a come on and respond accordingly.
