That old fashioned chivalry just makes you feel special. Some girls know how to accept it but for others, it's a bit harder. Some girls have their guard up and don't want a guy to make them feel that way (special) or don't know how. If a guy makes them feel special, then they'll be more vulnerable around them and slowly take down that wall.
A guy once paid for my meal without me knowing. when I went to pay and found out, I felt really flattered but half of me felt bad for accepting someone paying for my meal, since I'm not used to it.
I have no problem paying for my meal but there is just something about a guy paying for your meal that just makes you feel taken care of. It's harder to keep them at a distance, easier to think that maybe they are a decent guy who actually likes you.
just don't pay for a girls meal if they are just gold diggers lol
