What people fail to forget is that the vaginal canal is only so long. When you start hitting the cervix it can get painful for the woman. I'm sure she doesn't want that. in terms you can visualize at the computer, 5 inches is roughly the length from the caps lock to the G Key,. when you factor in girth.....I'd say 5 inches is sufficient.
If a woman is standing upright, the vaginal canal points straight up while the cervix points forward toward her belly. It is very possible to push past (under) the cervix into the posterior fornix which is actually an erogenous zone. So the cervix is not necessarily a wall that determines maximum depth.
