I do not think it would. Even if it makes things easier. Do you think those people do not feel bad looking outside at the world and no one understanding why they have no desire for sex. I would think they look at themselves as freaks in a lot of cases. Sex is everywhere. If 90% of people are doing it or wanting it I think the one that will not and will not want it is going to feel left out.
Nope, I've never felt like touching myself in 'exciting' places (or anyone else for that matter). It may have to do with the fact that I've been suffering from major depression basically throughout my teens, which was most likely genetic, so it might be a hormonal thing. Maybe the fact that I never really developed any kind of sexuality could be the reason why I don't ever get horny now, but I guess you'd have to research into this further to get definite answers.
