  • Do the dizziness spells happen after you eat or when you lie down? If so it may be because you don't know how to breathe. As funny as it sounds, I had the exact same problem and so do a lot of other people. If you can't breathe properly you restrict air to your brain and thus give yourself the feeling of being dizzy.

See a breathing specialist, but all you need to do it remember to breathe through your nose and into your stomach, not your chest. To see where you're breathing, lie down and take note which part of your body is moving - if it's your chest then you are not breathing deeply enough, but if it's your stomach/abdomen, then you're correct.

The reason why this can be affected after eating or when lying down is because when your stomach is full, it pushes your diaphragm upwards and if you're only breathing to your chest then you wont have enough space to breathe. If it's not this, then see a doctor. See one in any case actually. Remember, through the nose, into the abdomen and out the nose after a few seconds.
