It's a difficult one to answer. I'm sure they thought they were doing the right thing for you. But that age, where you are developing your self-image, is a really rough time for them to be making you feel something is wrong with you.
If it's at all possible, I'd try and concentrate on the positives (that they cared enough to try and help and that you maintain a healthy weight now).
