Did you have imaginary friends? until when?

I have imaginary friends if only because they're so much easier (and generally kinder) than real ones. What about you?

I never had any, but I don't think it's stupid.

I suffer from AS, so real life relationships are tough to handle.
I've been away in my 'double life' since I was a baby!
    Over 24 years, really.

    I was an imaginary friend!

I knew a guy when I was 10 and we lost contact for 8 years and then met up again. My name is Seanan and it is quite uncommon and his friends said wow I can't believe he (Simon) knows two Seanans. The other Seanan was a 6'6" kickboxer who used to let Simon do burnouts in his quad turbo supercharged ute. Oh the great adventures they had together.
When I came on the scene the other Seanan unfortunately had to leave for the otherside of the country before I could meet him.

I still find this pretty funny.

Until I was about 7. It was a girl named Mariquita with pigtails. I can't have an imaginary friend now, I'll do naughty things with it.

The only imaginary friend I ever had was God, but I outgrew him when I was like 7-8.

I'm an adult and I still have them. I actually talk to them and they talk back. I know it sounds crazy, but I'm really not

When you say imaginery friend, do you mean that you actually can see this person, but no one else can? Or you pretend talking to someone, and create a fantasy, even though you cant hear or see your friend.

I chose "no", because i never had any.. but it's not stupid. I've always wanted to have imaginary friends. But I've always been too realistic for all of this:/

Well, I had Captain Crunch as a "friend" until... the incident.

P.S. I'm not American and really don't know what Captain Crunch is, so if I've made a faux paw (that pun was deliberate), then you'll have to forgive me, excuse it, and then be mauled until nearly dead. :D

I had one when I was ages 4-5. He was a rabbit that lived in the wall. He had no name and I would talk to him about weird stuff when I had insomnia. His girlfriend was a stuffed rabbit my sister had.
