Which people? The elderly and the immunocompromised? 500,000 of them dying isnt that big of a problem when you look at it from a governmental point of view.
By that I mean we are a country of 350+ million people a half million non working nor fighting capable persons deaths are bad but it's the least detrimental (to a functioning country) part of the population to die.

Its harsh... not untrue though.
Psychopathic woulnt care for any group of people dying. This is just brutal honesty and logic making an observation of how it could of been worse.
