Did i overreact to her

Not too long ago, I started chatting with a girl on Skype. After talking for a few days, she started taking a while to respond. When she would, I would ask if she was okay, and she generally avoided the question with a generic response. After she was quiet for unusually longer, I looked at her profile page, where her mood message read "Would just be better if I was gone. Goodbye.". I feared that it meant something happened, and she was contemplating suicide. I went to a social website where she had a profile, and I messaged a few people on her friend's list explaining the situation, and asking if they heard from her, and if she was okay. Soon after, the girl did message me back, and she was pissed because some of the people I messaged weren't her friends anymore. So now I'm sure she hates me now, and I wonder: Did I overreact to the situation?

    You did the right thing. This a good reaction for someone actually suicidal. You didn't know that she was just an attention whore

    You weren't wrong, but you'll never attract a girl acting that way. You need to read "No More Mr. Nice Guy".

    You did nothing wrong. You didn't know and wanted to make sure she was ok. It shows you have a kind and caring attitude. She has no right to be pissed off with you, she is being unreasonable.
