Did i break my own hymen?

Okay so I've been intentionally wanting to break my own hymen for a while now (in an attempt to make sex for the first time that little bit less messy/painful and thus more enjoyable etc as I've only been mildly fingered before so I'm pretty sure it's still mostly intact) Anyway about 3 days ago, I basically inserted a fairly small plastic tube about the size of a mini pritt stick (I cleaned it beforehand!) and there has been a small amount of blood in my pants/pee every since (I had my period 2 weeks ago)
So I'm just wondering if I have *FINALLY* indeed broken my hymen (if so, yay, mission complete!) OR if I have simply DAMAGED something else?! It is in no way painful down there so I can't imagine I've caused some infection, the blood is much less then that of a period and isn't as red in color, but I still want to just make sure nothings gone wrong... Also is it normal for girls to want intentionally broken their own hymen to make their first time more enjoyable, or is it just me?

    Yes, it is normal for you to still be bleeding. After my first time I lightly bled for a day or so, but I still had part of my hymen intact. Whenever my boyfriend would finger me with 2 fingers, I still lightly bled. So yes, it is possible that you broke all of it, but it still might be there. Just wait until you have sexual intercourse. Don't hurt yourself. (: hope this helped

    From an evolutionary stand point I don't understand why women have a hymen. I mean thinking about it sex encourages us to procreate and hymen would make women not procreate. So I don't understand why they give us a motivation sex(men and women want) and a blocker(hymen for girls). I will say be careful though. If you end up damaging yourself internally you could kill yourself and you would not know what was wrong till later. Also I would say try riding a horse. Apparently women have accidentally broke it doing this.
