It's fine. I've just seen the amish documentaries and they spoke Dutch. I'm sure the amish depending on region speak a variety of other languages. I suppose having a different language is good at preventing people from leaving the settlement.

The amish dont belive in a lot of things. But hey they are american if you want to speak Dutch and live in the 18th century fine.

Lol yes. I think the ones near me are mostly ok except some have puppy mills.
Very few end up leaving.
