I'm female and straight so this is purely on an aesthetic basis, but I find myself unappreciative of the beauty of women online. It's like I've seen so many perfect airbrushed women in the media that nobody stands out anymore. I mean really, they are symmetrical with glowing skin and so technically are, but I've seen it so many times I don't bat an eyelid.

In real life if I see someone beautiful I'm likely more impressed, but still not that much. And as for men, I find them neutral too - until I know their personalities; then I might find them attractive.

    It happens. Sports bar I go to typically hires beautiful, hot women, to the point that when a new one starts, now she's just another new employee. A few have been unbelievably gorgeous (one is now modeling..and she's 20), and are the exception, but in general, one beautiful, new woman in that place is just like the other. No surprise value anymore. Yeah, fine, she's hot. So is this one, that one, etc..

    Just be happy who you are and looking for attraction is base on your view of point. Beauty don't last forever you know that. Once they become aging to older, wrinkle, weak, also disease. Plastic surgery can cover the outside but the inside of body will slowly function doesn't keep up like in younger age.
    What's matter is the inside of your heart people will look more into that.
