Sure, I make enough to cover our expenses, but everyone's gotta pursue something in their life. And right now, my income is down the drain. Especially with me having to shut down my business cause of the virus... I see a lot of expenses within the next 2 months. Taxes, rent, insurances and a whole bunch of stuff still keep going, but no profits. Got the word yesterday too, we are closing the dealership on Monday.
I'll only get 2 weeks pay and the rest is unpaid vacation. Germany is trying to work out a thing, where everyone will get 1200-1400 Euros a month to still keep going, but that's not certain. My income is practically down to zero. Kinda hoping this blows over, before I resort to my emergency savings account.Maybe I can work out a deal at my Saturday bus driving job to drive more there and have some source of income...
Anyway, back to my girlfriend. I just hate seeing someone waste time away. She wants to be a cosmetics expert, but flunks tests and exams.
My mom spent most of her life as a housewife, but even she majored in linguistics and was a teacher for some time, before I was born, before my dad got a high paying job and she could stay home.As for the spending - women's clothes are always stupidly expensive and impractical. Just take a look at pockets on women's jeans... I read somewhere that they released this corona to do an economic reset, whatever that means. Probably means the world governments thought people had too much money and nw they want to drive us all to the poor house.
People have lost sight of the fact that if everyone is shut down and hiding in their homes, society cannot function. It doesn't even matter how big or small one's job is. If someone is willing to pay for someone else to do a job, it IS important.
My humble job hasn't shut down yet but of course no one is immune to this mess they created.

The whole corona thing may be a planned cruel reboot of the world to make millionaires even richer, while making everyone else poorer... I don't know. But if it is, it's working. Quarantine, social distancing, economy failing, closed businesses and little, to no aid...
I've had my business closed for 2 months now, but I still gotta pay full taxes, rent, etc and partial health insurance for my employees. The dealership got shutdown...
Now I am a full-time bus driver and thankful I managed to workout a deal. Cause my company is ineligible for government aid packages. And I do pay my employees a little bonus on the side to keep them from seeking other jobs (Finding good employees is hard).
In Bulgaria I do have a cherry picker with 2 employees and because of Bulgarian law... those 2 muppets have to receive full pay. Again - no government aid. It's all down to me.
I've frozen any plans I have for the next 6 months at least, cause the only income I got right now is 1900 Euro a month as a bus driver. Fuckin' rent alone costs 750.
I do hope this ends soon, cause my monthly expenses are currently more than my monthly salary.
