Sounds like World of WarCraft. He will wake up one day and realized he has accomplished nothing playing the game and how much of his life wasted.
That's the sad reality he'll face. I did it for 1 year playing Morrowind finally beating it. During that time had no girl friend and was beating it
I do have a girlfriend in the game.
