There has never been a documented one or the whole world would know of it.
How could you accept that twaddle by christian fanatics any more than the twaddle that IS and the rest of the muslim fanatics spew out?
I'm not religious myself, but I feel as if this is a common misunderstanding that some atheists have. There's a paradox in religious ideology...basically if one were to PROVE, without a doubt, that god existed, then people would have no choice but to believe in god. Therefore, free will would no longer exist, and free will is as much, if not more of an important and central concept to most religions...free will works hand in hand with the idea of god.
Basically, the notion is that if you did not CHOOSE to believe in god, then your faith would be meaningless, and would not "glorify god," so to speak. Choices are what allow you to supposedly choose the right thing, and be a good person, yadayada...not that it ever works out that way, but that's a whole different conversation.
At least that's my understanding. It's not what I personally believe, but I just wanted to point out that there is some pretty clear reasoning behind the idea that one should not be able to prove that god exists.
I think I agree in the case of a deity (except the radical muslims who think all should be forced to believe, if that's even possible) maybe they should read the well stated post you've just posted?
But with stuff like demons, ghosts and the supernatural, I think it's a bit more, "it either exists or it doesn't" sort of deal. Anybody may choose to believe in anything, but no matter how much they believe it will never be the truth.
That's a good point! Hahaha...sometimes I forget that a belief in demonic entities and hell doesn't necessarily go hand in hand with Christianity, but I'll go ahead and blame that on the batshit crazy nuns at my catholic grade school ; )
Go look it up. There have been many possessions. Christians believe in what they believe. If you have a problem with that, then too bad. People are allowed to believe what they want, no matter how unreasonable other people may think it is.
Demons are attacking me 24/7

You pretend to sail the world from your mother's basement.
