Nudity makes one feel naked, not just physically, but for some, right into one's self. Lying on her mom's side may make her [daughter] feel more connected to her [mother].
Perhaps she dislikes clothing in bed. I do, too, but that's with my sweetheart, not .. Dad. (That'd be awkward LVL9000.)
She could be sub-consciously feeling obliged to 'continue her mom's responsibility' or.., you know, trying to "get some". But that's my last-resort thought.
Talk to her about it. And, seriously, set an indoor camp in the living room from now on until missy moves her rear back to her own room.
