I understand the way you are thinking because i thought like you for some time, thankfully we learn from our mistakes and i changed my way of looking at life.
No, there can't be peace if someone like hitler is in power. Imagine the poor getting squashed, imagine the killing of millions for social, racial, economical reasons, and beliefs. Where there is power there is always oppression. Where there is oppression there is no peace. People will fight til death if they are oppressed.
The only way to reach peace is educating new generations, eliminate social differences, promote ecology, eliminate capitalism, destroy the government and destroy barriers.
Also someone talked about Karl Marx up here. If he was alive, the world wouldn't be the same, he would change a lot, and like him I believe in a better world, a world of freedom and equality.
